I was walking on the hills facing the island of Gallinara and I read the interesting article by the writer and photographer @PietroTarallo's about #WhaleWatching published on @Mentelocale. After some phone calls with Gianni of the #MolaMolaDiveTeam of Alassio, I found myself, in a short time, passing from walking along the footpaths on the mainland to go offshore on the sea waves.
After the interesting explanations of the marine biologist about the types of animals we might have met, we left the Alassio Bay on alert to capture the moment and the place where the whale blows.
We spotted several of them, including common whales and dolphins, and the emotion was such as to make me wonder what the great explorer #LordFranklin had felt when he saw the whale's whirring in the distant and cold #BaffinBay whose story I had listened few evenings before at the #AngeloBranduardi concert.
